百合花

LILY
There are many kinds of Lily. Some of them are in bloom all the summer. Most kinds grow in shady parts of the garden, and very tall and beautiful. They are not all white. Some wear bright colours, and one has marking something like those on a tiger.

GORSE
Gorse, or Whin, or Furze, is never out of bloom. A few of its golden flowers may be found on any day in the year, but the best blooming-time is in April and May. Instead of leaves it has sharp prickly spikes.
